Selling your Magic cards to Genie Cards begins by scanning your cards into a list using your smartphone. Scanning keeps the process quick and simple, avoiding the need to manually search for cards or build lists by hand. ​ You submit your scanned list to us for review. For standard submissions, cards are then sent to us once the list is agreed. After receipt and verification, payment is issued via bank transfer. For higher-value submissions, we can also arrange in-person collection, providing additional peace of mind and allowing payment to be completed at collection.

Our buy list operates on transparent pricing, allowing sellers to see values as they scan and organise their cards.​ Pricing is visible during submission and is based on current market trends rather than individual low listings. This approach helps ensure values better reflect overall demand, not just the cheapest card available at a given moment. The values shown broadly align with prices commonly referenced across established marketplaces and the wider Magic community, helping ensure pricing reflects real demand rather than isolated listings or internal estimates. Rates are competitive and structured, allowing sellers to proceed with confidence without needing to manually price or negotiate cards. Our Buy List rates are applied consistently based on each card’s value: Standard rates: • £1.00 to £4.99 → 65% of trending value • £5.00 to £19.99 → 68% of trending value • £20.00+ → 70% of trending value New releases (important): We do not buy cards before a set’s official release date. For the first 3 weeks after official release, pricing can be volatile while supply ramps up — during this window we apply a temporary reduced rate: • £1.00 to £4.99 → 60% of trending value • £5.00 to £19.99 → 63% of trending value • £20.00+ → 65% of trending value Trending values are visible as you organise your list, allowing you to see how totals are formed before submitting.

We offer in-person collection for eligible submissions, with availability based on the total agreed offer value and distance from us. For most smaller submissions, posting cards is the simplest option. As submission value increases, in-person collection becomes more practical and is offered more widely. Collection Guidelines: • £300–£500 total agreed offer value Collection may be available within 65 miles of Milton Keynes ​ • £500–£1,000 total agreed offer value Collection is typically available within 150 miles of Milton Keynes ​ • £1,000+ total agreed offer value Collection can often be arranged beyond the standard 150-mile range ​ • £2,500+ total agreed offer value Collection can often be arranged from most of England and Wales These collection guidelines are indicative only. We aim to arrange collection wherever practical, and partial travel by the seller can often increase flexibility. ​ All collection arrangements are discussed and agreed in advance.

• ​Payment is made via bank transfer. • For posted submissions, payment is issued once cards are received and verified • For in-person collections, payment is completed at collection • Submitting a list does not commit you to selling • You can add or remove cards, or decide not to proceed, at any point before payment • Nothing is final until payment has been made We aim to complete payment within 24 hours of verification.

You’ll be contacted to confirm details before anything proceeds. Before you submit (quick checks): • UK pricing (GBP + Trend): set ManaBox to the UK market (GBP) and ensure values are shown using Trending value (not low listings) before scanning. If your export shows EUR/USD, please re-export in GBP so we can review it. • £1.00+ only: only include cards showing £1.00 or more in your export — anything under £1.00 isn’t accepted via the buylist. • Correct editions: make sure each card’s correct printing/edition is selected while scanning. • Condition (ManaBox): only include Mint, Near Mint, or Excellent (EX). We can’t accept Good, Light Played, Played, or Poor.
